Everyone aged 15 to 25 are welcome to participate in the sailing races – regardless of their degree, education, experience or background.
50% of the crew members on board a Tall Ship consist of trainees. In addition to getting to know all aspects of sailing, such as manoeuvring, navigating, climbing the masts, cooking and cleaning, there are many other activities that stimulate cultural exchange such as debates (inter)national dinners, games and discussions related to cultural differences and/or specific themes.
Do you love adventures? Do you find it interesting to meet international people? Do you like the physical challenge? Would you like to actively participate in the race from Stavanger to Harlingen? Then the Tall Ships Races Harlingen 2018 is your adventure!
Friendships are made for life, the host ports are the ‘centre of the world’ for several days.
